Your privacy matters. This policy explains the information AviationGO collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you when you use our website or iOS app.

1. What We Collect

• Account information, including your name, email address, profile details, and account identifier
• Pilot logbook, currency, instructor, airport check-in, badge, challenge, and search information
• Content you choose to provide, including photos, messages, reviews, support requests, and other user-generated content
• Precise location only when you choose a location-based feature, such as finding a nearby airport or validating a check-in
• Subscription and purchase status provided by Apple or our web payment provider; AviationGO does not receive your full payment-card number
• Device and push-notification identifiers when you connect a device or enable notifications
• Usage, security, and diagnostic information, such as sign-ins, feature interactions, request logs, and technical errors

2. How We Use Data

We use this information to create and secure your account, provide the features you request, personalize your passport and challenge progress, process subscription status, deliver notifications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, and understand and improve AviationGO.

3. Service Providers and Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not use your information for cross-company advertising tracking. We share information only as needed with service providers that operate AviationGO, such as hosting, email, push notification, weather and aviation-data, fraud-prevention, Apple App Store, and payment-processing services; when you direct us to share content with other users; or when required by law. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services.

4. Data Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and restricted access. Optional two-factor authentication is available for additional account security. We retain information for as long as needed to provide AviationGO, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service, then delete or de-identify it when it is no longer required.

5. Your Choices

You can update your account and privacy settings, choose whether check-ins are shared, disable notifications, and decline optional location, camera, or photo access. You can request account deletion in the iOS app under Account > Delete Account or by contacting support. Deleting an account removes or de-identifies associated information except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or financial-record purposes.

6. Children

AviationGO is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can take appropriate action.
